At 81, Paul McCartney is worth £1 billion for the first time

As reported by the Times, the combined wealth of the 81-year-old former Beatles member and his wife Nancy has increased from £950 million ($1.2 billion) in 2023 to £1 billion ($1.3 billion).   

The publication stated that McCartney's enduring popularity and ability to connect with fans of all ages were the reasons behind this significant achievement.  

On her smash album "Cowboy Carter" that came out earlier this year, Beyoncé reworked Paul McCartney's 1968 composition "Blackbird" for the Beatles.  

In addition to her accolades for the cover, the pop icon made history when she became the first Black woman to top Billboard's list of country albums  

In the last twelve months, McCartney has put out some solo material:   

The Beatles' smash hit "Now and Then," promoted as the band's farewell single, was released in November of last year.  

With George Harrison's guitar work, McCartney's and Ringo Starr's newly recorded parts, and John Lennon's vocals from a 1977 demo,   

included McCartney as its headliner in 2022. Since2004, this was his first appearance as the festival's headliner.
