Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie Bite

INGREDIENTS 

– Sugar – Butter- softened – Water – Semisweet Chocolate Chip – Egg

– Vanilla Extract- try to use pure versus imitation – Flour- all-purpose – Baking Soda – Milk Chocolate Chips- feel free to use semi-sweet if desired – Creamy Peanut Butter- Creamy sweetened peanut butter works best

MAKING PROCESS

STEP 1

1. In a microwaveable safe bowl, combine the sugar, butter, and water. Microwave in 45 second increments until butter is melted.

Stir in 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips until melted. *If it has not completely melted, return it to the microwave for a few seconds. Stir the ingredients until well blended.  

STEP 2

Mix in the egg and vanilla essence. Add in the flour and baking soda.  

STEP 3

Allow the batter to cool somewhat, approximately 5-10 minutes.  

STEP 4

Fold in the Milk Chocolate Chips. Grease or line a muffin tin and fill each with batter to approximately 3/4 capacity.  

STEP 5

1. Place muffin tray in a preheated oven, 350 degrees, and bake for 14-16 minutes.

STEP 6

After baking the brownie cups, remove them from the oven and allow them to cool for about 5 minutes.  

STEP 7

If the brownie centers do not collapse in while chilling, use a tablespoon to gently press into the center of each cup, forming a little divot.  

STEP 9

Microwave the peanut butter until smooth and melted. Place about 1 tablespoon peanut butter in the center of each brownie cup. If desired, add more chocolate chips.
