Homemade Non-Dairy Coffee Creamer

A morning without a cup of coffee—or two—is unheard of in my household.

Despite my love of coffee, I've never enjoyed plain black coffee. I need something creamy—something to give it body and a hint of sweetness.

This quick and easy recipe uses only three ingredients to produce a homemade non-dairy coffee creamer that is gently sweetened yet oh-so creamy.

– 1 (13.5-ounce) can full-fat coconut milk – 1 cup oat milk, like Oatly Original – 3 tablespoons light brown sugar

In a blender, combine the coconut milk, oatmeal, and brown sugar. Blend on high for 10 to 20 seconds to dissolve the sugar.

STEP 1   Blend the ingredients:

Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a covered container (such as a bottle or jar) and chill.

STEP 2:  Strain:

Keep the non-dairy creamer in the fridge for 7 to 10 days, shaking well before using.
