Japchae Korean Style Instant Noodle Bowl Set

Ingredients: – 1 pack of instant noodles (preferably Korean-style like Shin Ramyun or similar) – 1/2 cup julienned carrot – 1/2 cup julienned bell peppers (red, yellow, or green) – 1/2 cup sliced mushrooms (shiitake or any preferred type) – 1/2 cup spinach or bok choy – 1/4 cup thinly sliced onion – 2 cloves garlic, minced – 1/4 cup sliced beef, chicken, or tofu (optional for added protein) – 1 tablespoon soy sauce

– 1 tablespoon sesame oil – 1 teaspoon sugar – 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper – 1 tablespoon vegetable oil – 1 teaspoon sesame seeds (for garnish) – Green onions, chopped (for garnish)

1. Prepare the Instant Noodles:Cook the instant noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside. 2. Prepare the Sauce:In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and black pepper. Set aside.

– In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. – Add the minced garlic and sliced onions, and sauté until fragrant. – Add the sliced beef, chicken, or tofu if using, and cook until done. Remove and set aside.

– Add the carrots, bell peppers, and mushrooms to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until they start to soften. – Add the spinach or bok choy and cook until wilted.

1. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour the prepared sauce over the noodles and vegetables, and toss everything together until well combined and heated through. Return the cooked protein to the skillet and mix well.

– Transfer the Japchae noodle mixture to bowls. – Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
