Korean Corn Dogs are a popular street food in Korea, known for their unique and delicious twist on the traditional corn dog.

They are typically coated with a crispy batter and often have fillings like cheese, sausage, or a combination of both.

Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour 2 tablespoons sugar 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 egg

3/4 cup milk 1/2 cup fine breadcrumbs (for coating) 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs (for coating) 1-2 tablespoons water (if needed for consistency)

4 hot dogs or sausages 4 mozzarella cheese sticks (or cut blocks of mozzarella cheese) Wooden skewers

1 cup diced potatoes (small cubes, for coating) 1/2 cup cornflakes (crushed, for coating) 1/2 cup sugar (for sprinkling) Ketchup, mustard, or mayonnaise (for serving)

1 cup diced potatoes (small cubes, for coating) 1/2 cup cornflakes (crushed, for coating) 1/2 cup sugar (for sprinkling) Ketchup, mustard, or mayonnaise (for serving)

Make the Batter: In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder. Add the egg and milk to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth. The batter should be thick but pourable. If it's too thick, add a little water to reach the desired consistency.

Prepare the Coating: In separate shallow dishes, place the fine breadcrumbs and panko breadcrumbs. If using diced potatoes or crushed cornflakes, place them in another shallow dish.
