Korean cream cheese garlic bread

Korean Cream Cheese Garlic Bread is a deliciously indulgent treat that combines sweet, savory, and creamy flavors in a unique way.

This popular Korean street food item features a soft bread bun stuffed with a sweetened cream cheese filling, soaked in a garlicky, buttery sauce, and then baked to perfection. Here’s how to make it at home:

Ingredients: For the Bread: 4 large, round bread rolls (preferably brioche for best results) 200 grams cream cheese, softened 3 tablespoons powdered sugar

For the Garlic Butter Sauce: 100 grams unsalted butter, melted 10 cloves garlic, finely minced 2 tablespoons honey 1 tablespoon condensed milk

Prepare the Cream Cheese Filling: – In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese with powdered sugar until well combined and smooth. Set aside.

Prepare the Garlic Butter Sauce: – In another bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, honey, condensed milk, parsley, and salt. Mix thoroughly until well combined.

– Cut each bread roll into sixths, slicing almost all the way through but leaving the base intact so the sections stay connected (like a flower).

– Using a piping bag or a spoon, fill the crevices of each bread roll generously with the sweetened cream cheese mixture.

Soak the Bread: – Generously brush or pour the garlic butter sauce over and into the crevices of the stuffed bread rolls, ensuring it soaks into the bread.

. Bake the Bread: – Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). – Place the prepared bread on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

– Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden and crispy.

– Serve warm, ideally fresh out of the oven for maximum enjoyment.
