Thaddeus Moss, a tight end for the Cincinnati Bengals and a former LSU Tiger, is hanging up his spikes.

The 2019 LSU national championship team member recently announced his football retirement on social media. Moss announced this message and did so.

Moss was a major contributor to the team's on-field success during LSU's incredible run to the 2019 national title.

During that season, the Tigers participated in all 14 games, starting them all. They recorded 47 receptions for 570 yards and four receiving touchdowns

He continues to hold the record for the most receiving yards by a tight end during a single season at LSU.

Moss would not be selected in the 2020 NFL Draft, despite his achievements at LSU during their championship run. Moss received a 5.8 prospect grade.

He is the wide receiver son of NFL Hall of Fame Randy Moss. After the draft, he was able to sign as an undrafted free agent with the Washington Football Team. In the end, he would land on the injured football team

LSU supporters will always remember him for his role in the Tigers' 2019 national championship victory and his performance against Clemson in the national championship game, where he caught two touchdowns on five receptions for 36 yards.
