Strawberry Dump Cake

When you're pressed for time but still want something sweet, this is the ideal dessert.

The cake mix topping is golden brown and buttery, and the filling bakes up warm and gooey.

You're done when you add a dollop of whipped cream or an ice cream scoop on top! —McKinney, Texas resident Jenna Urben

1. Preheat oven to 350°. Spread pie filling into a greased 13x9-in. baking dish. Sprinkle with cake mix. Top with butter.

If you've ever made a simple syrup, this is made with the same method. If you haven't, I'll show you how easy it is!

Just put 1 cup of water and 1 cup of sugar in medium-size saucepan and bring mixture to a boil.

1. Bake until filling is bubbly and top is golden brown, 45-60 minutes. Serve warm with fresh strawberries and whipped cream, if desired.
