Game 6 took place on Thursday, and Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota

Timberwolves attributed their 115-70 drubbing of the Denver Nuggets to something other than their stout defense.

game losing run in the Western Conference semifinals and advance to Sunday's

Game 7 was because Minnesota's point guard, who is 36 years old, was playing.

Due to a painful right Achilles tendon, 17-year veteran Conley did not participate in Tuesday's Game 5.
