'Yellowstone,' 'Mayor of Kingstown' Prove Texas Film Biz Has Plenty to Offer Hollywood

In the United States, a variety of programs provide financial incentives to businesses and individuals through various forms of tax credits, refunds, and grants.   

With its vast infrastructure and services, as well as its recently enhanced statewide film grant,  

Texas is determined to make sure that Hollywood-in-Texas is a success for everyone.  

Using the governor's economic development budget,   

the most recent legislative session authorized a $200 million grant to cover productions from September 2023 through August 2025.   

In terms of bolstering domestic manufacturing, this substantial upgrade is a giant leap forward.  

According to Paul Jensen, the head of the Texas Media Production Alliance,
